.....the best of 2005
2005 saw a renaissance in the climbing and mountaineering outings for the YMC.

2005.....
January
January was a time for summer multi-pitch routes in the lakes.
February saw some of the early winter conditions.

A certain member who shall remain nameless also experienced  the force of the law whislt speeding on the A9!

March

March saw action on water ice in the lakes.

April saw the return of Grit with a trip to Stanage on public transport!

May proved to be time to hit the beech and the awesome sea cliffes of scotland and pembroke!

>> The pembroke Mafia, Tenk and Seb.

June
June saw yet more punishment on sea cliffes but this time it was Yorkshires own Filey!
July saw many people off on holiday or on trips of their own. On the club front there were many days off biking and cragging.

August saw something slighly different. With my arm in a sling following a minor accident mountain biking I setteld back to watch the UK's finest climbers in Manchesters first buildering competition.
September was biking season again and the long awaited return to Glentress Forest in the Scottish Borders.

October saw members back on the hills bagging peaks.


November was time for a foreign outing to get some well deserved sun!
